Terms of Sale
Article 1 — Scope These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made on the ROUTE DE SOIE website (routedesoie.com) by any consumer located in France or the European Union. By placing an order, you fully accept these Terms of Sale.

Article 2 — Products ROUTE DE SOIE sells luxury silk accessories including scarves and hijabs. All products are described as accurately as possible, including materials, dimensions and care instructions. Photographs are as faithful as possible to the products, however slight variations in color may occur due to screen settings. Silk is a natural material and minor variations in texture and sheen are inherent to the fabric and are not considered defects.
Article 3 — Pricing All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable VAT. ROUTE DE SOIE reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Products are billed at the price in effect at the time the order is placed, as confirmed in the order confirmation email.
Shipping costs are additional and are displayed at checkout before order confirmation. Orders over €200 qualify for free shipping within France and the EU.
Article 4 — Orders To place an order, you must:
- Select your product(s) and add them to your cart
- Provide accurate delivery and billing information
- Review and confirm your order
- Complete payment
Your order is confirmed upon receipt of your order confirmation email. ROUTE DE SOIE reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of stock unavailability, payment issues, or suspected fraud. You will be notified promptly and refunded in full if applicable.
Article 5 — Payment Payment is due in full at the time of ordering. We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All transactions are secured and encrypted via Shopify Payments. ROUTE DE SOIE does not store your payment card details.
Article 6 — Shipping & Delivery Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and shipped from France. Estimated delivery times are:
- France: 2–4 business days
- European Union: 3–6 business days
ROUTE DE SOIE currently ships within France and the EU only. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon physical delivery of the goods.

Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and EU Directive 2023/2673, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, contact us at contact@routedesoie.com. Items must be returned unworn, unused, with all original tags and packaging. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned goods, to the original payment method.
Custom or personalized items are exempt from the right of withdrawal.
Article 8 — Legal Guarantee of Conformity All products sold by ROUTE DE SOIE benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (EU Directive 2019/771) for a period of 2 years from delivery. If a product is defective or does not conform to your order, contact us at contact@routedesoie.com and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.
Article 9 — Complaints & Dispute Resolution For any complaint, contact us first at contact@routedesoie.com. We will do our best to resolve the issue within 14 days.
If no satisfactory resolution is reached, you may refer the matter to a consumer mediator free of charge, or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
Article 10 — Governing Law These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. EU consumers also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence.
